Common Faire activities and events provide community service opportunities.
Please remember to
follow Girl Scout policy regarding earning recognitions as well as any safety
requirements specified in Safety Wise.
Possible service opportunities with OOTW can include the
listed activities.

Interest Projects for Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts:
- Home Improvement: Service Project Activity #2 - Volunteer for a weekend construction
program.
- Maps, Maps, and More: Service Project
Activity #3 - Volunteer to help collect data that can be used to assist
an organization (Possibly exit surveys)
- Plant Life: Service Project Activity #1 - Help turn a vacant lot
or other public space into an "oasis" by volunteering to landscape it.
- Plant Life: Service Project Activity #2 - With a partner, or your
troop or group, plant an area with native vegetation that will provide food or
shelter for birds.
