Common Faire activities and events provide an opportunity to engage in leadership activities. Please remember to follow Girl Scout policy regarding earning recognitions as well as any safety requirements specified in Safety Wise.
Register with OOTW as a PA to earn hours by guiding younger girl troops through the Try-It/Badge activities provided at the Faire. Each girl must pre-register, already be PA trained, and attend a 2-hour orientation training session in order to participate. Girls will work with guest troops and their leadership to ensure that younger girls have the opportunity to complete badge requirements.
Participate with the faire as a trained
volunteer
and receive credit for community service hours
(2 hours of volunteer training + 2 hours on the job training).
Activity # 3: Spend a day at work with someone who has a job in which you are interested.
